Developing Collaborative Leadership
Based on robust feedback from our middle leaders an experience has been developed by SEIC QI workstream to allow Depute Head teachers the opportunity to take time to self-reflect on their professional and personal values and wellbeing.
As part of developing an empowered system, participants from across the five authorities will engage with colleagues in areas which they themselves identify as a priority in terms of their professional development. Collaboratively working to support and challenge one another to improve outcomes for themselves, their teachers, support staff and ultimately their children and young people.
Currently working on:
- Establishing our third cohort which will be running on the 28th and 29th February. If interested you should discuss this with your own local authority.
- Creating case studies highlighting how the Collaborative work has impacted on school communities.
A few of our Developing Collaborative Leadership cohort. Celebrating the successes and sharing the impact of the work undertaken through this collaborative learning process. Delighted to be joined by Norman Drummond who commented on both the professional and personal wellbeing developed through this process.
